Ο Παναγιώτης Αυγερινός είναι ένας νέος τραγουδοποιός, που έχει τώρα το δεύτερο ολοκληρωμένο άλμπουμ του. Λέγεται «Παίρνω τη σκυτάλη» [ΜΙΝΟS EMI / Universal / αυλός, 2017] και περιέχει οκτώ κομμάτια, σε δικές του μουσικές, στίχους και ερμηνείες, ενώ σε κάποια εξ αυτών άδουν μαζί του ο Γιάννης Ζουγανέλης, ο Λάκης Παπαδόπουλος, η Ξένια Γαργάλη και ο Δημήτρης Πουλικάκος. Ποιες είναι οι αναφορές τού Αυγερινού; Ας πούμε το ελληνικό ροκ, στην εκδοχή εκείνου που αποκαλούμε «ελληνικό ηλεκτρικό τραγούδι» και ακόμη ο… Πάνος Μουζουράκης. Λογικό είναι, εξάλλου, να επηρεάζεσαι (και) από μουσικούς του καιρού σου, περισσότερο ίσως και από ’κείνους του παρελθόντος, οπότε… no problem.

Στους στίχους του ο Αυγερινός εκφράζει τις κλασικές ανησυχίες. Τραγούδια για τις σχέσεις των ανθρώπων και για την πολιτική / κοινωνία – την ελληνική πολιτική / κοινωνία τής εποχής των μνημονίων. Υπάρχουν ορισμένα έξυπνα και ουσιαστικά στιχάκια οπωσδήποτε εδώ, όπως και άλλα που ακούγονται κάπως πιο κοινότυπα, αλλά το ζήτημα δεν είναι αυτό. Το ζήτημα είναι το σύνολο και εν τέλει το… αν κάποια απ’ αυτά τα οκτώ τραγούδια τού CD ξεχωρίζουν πραγματικά, έχοντας τη δύναμη να σταθούν όχι μόνο σήμερα, αλλά και στο μέλλον.

Λοιπόν, εδώ, υπάρχουν 2+1 τραγούδια, που δείχνουν ότι ο Αυγερινός έχει το ταλέντο να πάει παρακάτω και να κάνει στο άμεσο μέλλον κάτι για το οποίο θα τον θυμόμαστε για τα καλά. Το πρώτο είναι το «Κατάρτι», που έχει ένα θαυμάσιο ρεφρέν (αλλά και γενικότερα το τραγούδι «λέει»)… «μ’ αφήνουν πάνω στο κατάρτι μεθυσμένο / μ’ ένα τραγούδι που θυμάμαι από παλιά / το πιο μεγάλο λέει ψέμα είναι ειπωμένο / πως όλα μέσα στη ζωή είναι τυχερά», το δεύτερο είναι ο «Κανόνας» (με ωραίο μαντολίνο από τον Μιχάλη Δάρμα) και το τρίτο «Τα λόγια», ένα από τα πιο ροκ τραγούδια του άλμπουμ, που κλείνει το CD– ένα συνολικώς περιποιημένο CD.
