Jungle Bird are a winsome folk band with vintage soul. Aptly named after the Caribbean rum cocktail, they will leave you feeling drunk in love. Oozing with romance, hypnotic vocals and a tenderness thats sure to soothe a savage beast.
Jungle Bird started as a collaborative project between two besties Halley Flanagan and Glen Prins.
After a couple of years of playing small intimate gigs around Melbourne the duo became a trio with the addition of Paul Maz on double bass and 2018 see’s Jungle Bird to record and perform as a full band with Lyle Jenkins on drums (Winter Moon).
Their debut EP was recorded and produced by Sean Conran (Obscura Hail) in live settings including bedrooms, stairwells, bathrooms and porches. The intimacy of each moment is captured in these recordings bringing to life the raw emotion behind each song.
