Δεν υπάρχουν πολλά διαθέσιμα στοιχεία στοδίκτυο γι’ αυτό το ελληνικό γκρουπ, τους Residuos Mentales, που τώρα έχουν έτοιμο τοπρώτο(;) άλμπουμ τους, το οποίον αποκαλείται “Introspection” [Private Pressing / Inside Out Music Web Promotion, 2018] και που αποτελεί ανεξάρτητη παραγωγή (CD), με διανομή από την Inside Out Music Web Promotion. 
 Οι Residuos Mentalesανήκουν χοντρικώς στο σύγχρονο progressive rock και αποτελούνται από τους Στράτο Μοριανό πιάνο, έγχορδα, σύνθια, προγραμματισμός, κρουστά, Αλέξανδρο Μαντά ηλεκτρικές, ακουστικές & κλασικές κιθάρες, φλάουτο, μπάσο, Δημήτρη Ράδη ηλεκτρικές & ακουστικές κιθάρες, μπάσο, προγραμματισμός, Θοδωρή Τσιγκουράκο βιολί, Φιφή Αλεξοπούλου τσέλο, Στέλιο “Beast” Παύλου ντραμς και Βαγγέλη Σπανακάκη jen, kazoo, synths, φωνητικά, προγραμματισμός. Τώρα, πόσοι και ποιοι απ’ αυτούς τους μουσικούς είναι βασικοί (βασικά μέλη του γκρουπ) και πόσοι περιστασιακοί (που απλώς βοήθησαν κατά τη διάρκεια της συγκεκριμένης εγγραφής) δεν μπορούμε να το πούμε μετά βεβαιότητος. Εκείνο, πάντως, που είναι σίγουρο είναι πως οι Μοριανός και Μαντάς είναι οι βασικοί συνθέτες της μπάντας (δίχως τούτο, πάλι, να σημαίνει πως στις συνθέσεις δεν συμμετέχουν και άλλοι).

Οι μουσικές των Residuos Mentales ανήκουν στο χώρο τού έντεχνου rock. Είναι συνθέσεις... σύνθετες δηλαδή, με αρχή, μέση και τέλος, με έφεση στη μελωδία και από ’κει και πέρα στη δημιουργία ηχοτοπίων (η λέξη μπορεί να είναι αδόκιμη ή και τυχαία, αλλά όλοι καταλαβαίνουμε το νόημα και τη σημασία της). Η λεγόμενη «κλασική» μουσική, η «μουσική δωματίου», το art-rock, το progressive / electronic soundtrack, ενδεχομένως και άλλα τινά αποτελούν, οπωσδήποτε, τις βασικές αναφορές των Residuos Mentales, οι οποίοι, το ξαναλέω, ξέρουν να συνθέτουν – κάτι όχι αυτονόητο. Όλα, δε, τα κομμάτια τους έχουν μια ροή, από απλώς εκφραστική έως και συναρπαστική – καθώς το “Introspection” γίνεται όλο και καλύτερο όσο κυλάει ο χρόνος. Τούτο σημαίνει πως το συγκρότημα λειτουργεί με κάποιο concept, που μπορεί να μην είναι φανερό, αλλά, από την άλλη, μοιάζει να υπάρχει – αφού οι μουσικές που ακούγονται εδώ ολοκληρώνουν μια αφηγηματική διαδρομή (δίχως τούτο να το συσχετίζω με τους τίτλους των κομματιών και με το… αν είναι ή δεν είναι προγραμματικοί).
