RARE AC/DC RADIO AND TELEVISION BROADCASTS 1974 to 1979 ON 3 CDs It was in September 1974 when the legend that was Bon Scott joined the then still wet behind the ears AC/DC, formed the year before by brothers Angus and Malcolm Young in Melbourne, Australia. Over the next five and a half years Scott fronted the band and in tandem with the Youngs established the group as arguably the finest rock act in the world. Bon s tragic passing in the early months of 1980 only served to strengthen AC/DC s fan base and appeal and across the next 35 or so years (and counting!) with perennial new boy Brian Johnson having taken on Bon Scott s role with both aplomb and dignity, DC have gone from strength to strength to strength. But the Bon Scott years remain those that most adherents of the group remember most fondly and it is with this in mind that this 3 CD set has been produced. Featuring a number of radio and television broadcasts, made across the years between 1974 and 1979, it will stand as a superb tribute to Bon and the band and delight every fan still flying the flag. Featuring the group s first ever radio broadcast in 1974 from their hometown of Melbourne, continuing with numerous TV appearances made in Australia and elsewhere in the early days, plus further broadcast from the US in 1977 and 1978, and including too a number of rare radio interviews with Bon, Angus and the others, this set is destined to become a first class collector s item and will find a pride of place in every AC/DC collection the world over.

Producido por muchas veces ganador del Grammy, Javier Limón (Lágrimas negras, Cositas buenas,
Buika ... etc) y bajo la música universal en España.
Nacida en Madrid, comenzó a tocar el piano cuando ella tenía seis años y ganó schoolarship
completo con un 17 en la Escuela de Música Guidhall para piano clásico. El flamenco siempre
fue su pasión y de vuelta en España, trabajó con muchas de las principales figuras del flamenco
como: Niño Josele, Jorge Pardo, Bola Agustín Carbonel "El", Jesús del Rosario ...
Ella es el único músico español para recibir la presidencia premio en el Berklee College.
Boston. Grabó colaboraciones con Alejandro Sanz, Javier Limón, Jorge Pardo, etc ... y ha
compartido escenario en festivales de todo el mundo con Paco de Lucía, Michel Camilo,
Herbie Hancock, Richard Bona ... etc.

Ariadna Castellanos (Madrid, 1983) iba para bailarina. “Bendita la profesora que convenció a mi madre para que dejara el tutú y me apuntara a clases de piano”. Tenía sólo 6 años pero no tardó en aprender a “domar el piano como si fuera un caballo salvaje que te permite viajar a lugares inimaginables”. Su primer destino fue Londres, adonde llegó con 17 años y una beca en la Guildhall School of Music and Drama bajo el brazo. Volvió a Madrid “porque echaba de menos el flamenco” y el contacto con sus amigos Agustín Carbonell y Jorge Pardo, que fue quien la animó a contactar con el productor y compositor Javier Limón. Fue una persecución en toda regla. “Después de infinitas llamadas, me planté en su estudio con un vídeo en VHS de mis actuaciones”, recuerda. “Estaba ensayando con Niño Josele y Concha Buika... así que cuando me quise dar cuenta ya estábamos tocando por bulerías”.
Fue el artífice de algunas de las mejores grabaciones de Bebo Valdés y Diego ‘El Cigala' quien la animó a presentarse a una audición de la SGAE para estudiar en el Berklee College of Music de Boston. “No había pedido cita, así que tuve que esperar a que todo el mundo hubiera tocado”. Valió la pena el esfuerzo: en vez de la beca de la SGAE se llevó la que concede Roger H. Brown, presidente de la Berklee, donde se licenció en Músicas del Mediterráneo. “Beethoven, Bach y Ravel me enseñaron a ser disciplinada y a cumplir objetivos. Sin embargo, la música clásica, fundamental durante mi formación, no me ofrece el nivel de libertad expresiva del flamenco y el jazz”. En Boston compartió escenario con Paco de Lucía y se fogueó con algunos de los mejores músicos del mundo, que la invitaron a tocar en los prestigiosos festivales de jazz de Monterrey y Puerto Rico. “Siempre he entendido el jazz como espíritu, no como estilo”.
Sandra Carrasco, Piraña e Isaac de los Reyes, entre otros, la acompañan en Flamenco en Black & White (Universal), su disco de presentación, que verá la luz el próximo martes. “El título alude a las teclas del piano, a los contrastes de luz y oscuridad del flamenco, a los encuentros...”. Todos los temas los ha compuesto ella (salvo La Barrosa, de Paco de Lucía) y Javier Limón se ha ocupado de las letras. “Para entendernos”.
